OUR MISSION is to "HELP EL PASO HELP THEIR PETS!" and our vision is to be the best and friendliest Veterinary Clinic in the community! If you want to be a part of that, and are friendly, courteous, passionate, motivated, and EXCITED about what you do and how you can help your clients and their pets, then you are a perfect fit for our team! We boast great staff, progressive medicine and medical equipment, a variety and flair that no other clinic can offer, and wonderful weather year round. We are well known and well loved!
In El Paso there are currently about 18,000 dogs and cats that are euthanized each year as a consequence of our community’s pet overpopulation problem. It is our responsibility to educate our clients and do our part to minimize this number. El Paso is a place where you can truly make a difference.
1-2 times a week we have a day filled with house and farm calls. These are scheduled for those people in our community who unable to bring their pets to us. These visits are performed by one of our associate veterinarians with the assistance of one technician. Our farm veterinary technician is a part-time position but has the opportunity for full-time with the addition of working at Mesa Veterinary Clinic.
At Mesa Veterinary Clinic we have a full reception and technician staff, along with a management team. There are two large exam rooms for patients, a laboratory, an x-ray room, surgery room, boarding kennels, isolation kennels, and post-op kennels. Our clinic is open Monday- Saturday with on-call and after-hours treatment shifts required for technicians.
Skills and Qualifications:
As a veterinary technician with our clinic you will gain a variety of experiences. As a small privately owned practice we welcome innovative ideas and encourage growth. We are searching for a someone who is committed to excellence and eager to learn and grow in the veterinary field. If you like to help the local people and their pets, make a difference in the community, perform preventative medicine and surgery, and really rock and roll (we stay very busy!) this place is for YOU!
